new book I've read

I just finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by Hosseini who also wrote Kite Runner. I thought this book was excellent, very well written, a page turner. It is a very intense look at women's lives in Afghanistan. It made me appreciate again being a woman in America. I highly recommend this book.

Well, I was feeling pretty good about slowing down enough to just read this blog, and now you talk about reading books! How I wish I could make the time to read again. How do I change the way I do things so that I can carve out some time to just BE??

I bought Kite Runner today. Hopefully, I can carve out time to read it. I haven't read a book for pleasure in a long time. , ,
